We have landed in the Ukraine!

Thank you for all your prayers, we have arrived in Ukraine and are under the excellant supervision of Galya, our newest Ukrainian friend! We have been to McDonalds, the grocery store, and now the internet cafe!

What more could we want.... oh yes, a son! We start that meeting tomorrow at 9am at the adoption office. We 'll write more later after we get more sleep!

Love,
Darrin, Barb, & Galya too!

  2. Glad to hear you'll made it there. Hopefully you are finally getting some sleep. Mom, Cheryl and I will be at Denise's by 11:30 or so Thursday and probably be there til 6 ish. We are going to have Christmas at Doug & Mel's but the catering thing is not looking good. Will talk to you later.

  4. Glad you were able to enjoy some "fine food" already. Hope you took some time to check out the Happy Meal Menu - You are going to be needing to order one before long. Better start thinking of how you are going to get the toy out of the bag so that your son will eat his hamburger.

You are all close in our thoughts and prayers!

  5. Hi Darrin & Barb
We were thankful to hear you made it safely.
We are praying that God will guide and protect you each day of your journey and lead you to the perfect addition for your family.
By the way the Cardinal link was a nice touch,
    Aaron really enjoyed it.
Take care and tell Galya hi from Lynn & Lisa in Illinois.

  9. Well Thursday is nearly over for you now, and we are heading out to our first of 2 Thanksgiving meals for today. We have so much to be thankful for and watching you guys walk through this process just reminds me of the blessing and opportunities that we all have. Hope you day going through the books was great and I look forward to hearing about the white beaches of Southern Ukraine.
